Your Premium Kitchens of Doncaster selected project manager will call you first before the beginning of your kitchen installation project. This call is to remind you of the future fitting schedule. It is also to let you know to prepare and empty your cupboards and draws of your existing kitchen so they can be removed to make way for your new one.
Upon the day of arrival, your kitchen installers will locate the stop cock and switch off your main water supply. Once they have drained the remaining water from your pipes, the installer will start their first job in the removal of your old existing kitchen. The water will be switched back to normal once the kitchen has been properly removed from your premises.
Our main fitters will strip out and remove your existing kitchen until all the surrounding walls and the area is sparse. The next job is for them to remove and take out all the unnecessary plumbing work or electric cables that might be a hindrance, this in preparation for the plastering, making good of the walls and skimming all areas.
Our building team will proceed to carry out all remedial building work if any was originally agreed upon prior to your installation. This could include anything, such as moving any of your existing doorways, the construction of new plasterboard walls, and the building or removal of any brick-built walls. We then start the first fix. This includes any repair work, construction alterations or renovations if required. The electrics and plumbing system network is doubled checked at this stage.
Once our fitters are happy with the previous preparations they will begin to mark out your new electrical sockets, electrical switches and fused type spurs. They will then alter and if need be, extend any of the plumbing pipes that may need attending to. This could be so that your new kitchen sink fits the newly designed layout. When all this has been completed, we will start to chase out any kitchen walls where a back box will need to be installed for electrical purposes. The electrical wiring can then start to take shape, positioned to take all your new or existing kitchen appliances.
After all the necessary electrical wiring has been chased in and positioned in place, we will begin with all the plastering of the ceilings, walls that are in need of this service. We always like to complete our plaster preparation prior to the fitting of any coving on the wall or ceiling areas. Once all the plastering work has been done, our professional tiler will proceed to tile the floors, laminate or lino, depending on which surface that you ordered. Which can be grouted afterwards if tiles were your choice of floor covering.
At this stage, it will be time for our fitters to install your kitchen cabinets, cupboard and draw units. The order in which this is completed will be different between each fitter as they all have their unique way and process of doing things. Usually, though they will start at a base unit and work from one particular corner and follow around the room area.
nonetheless, most of our professional fitters start at the base and move from one corner around the area of the room.
Once your kitchen fitter is fully content with the installation of your units then It's time to press on to fit your sink and your chosen worktops that you originally ordered. Usually, our professional fitting team at Premium Kitchens of Doncaster will measure twice, cut and size your worktops before the delivery to your house. Once your newly installed worktops have been aligned properly and expertly fitted to your kitchen furniture units, they will be nicely edged and permanently fixed into position.
The time has now arrived to begin the reconnection and installation of your new sink units. Once all the sink connecting is complete and fully tested out, we will begin to start the tiling process on your walls if this is part of the project. Then we will begin the work on your cornices, your infill panelling, together with all the pelmets that are installed.
Depending on your particular design we will usually finish off with the fitting of all the cabinet doors, base plinths, and all the drawer unit fronts and the handles that you selected, plus any accessories that you ordered. It is most important that care is taken with this process at this point because the slightest mistake can spoil the whole look of the layout of your bespoke luxury kitchen. The final next step will always be to connect all the new appliances that you originally ordered within your kitchen installation.
All the appliances that you ordered will be tested to guarantee that they indeed work. If you had any tiling work completed then grouting and making good will be completed to a fine finish to guarantee your kitchen tiling looks it's best.
Finally, we have come to the time to remove all the excess materials and unused debris from your property and tidy up your kitchen. At Premium Kitchens of Doncaster, we always like to leave our work places and your kitchen clean after an installation.
