What's Included When We Spray Your Kitchen Cabinets
- Spraying of existing cabinet doors, drawer fronts, end panels and cornices using airless spray equipment for an even, factory-style finish
- Full surface preparation beforehand - degreasing, sanding/keying and filling small dents or chips so the new paint keys into the surface properly
- Colour matching to any Farrow & Ball or Little Greene shade, plus your choice of matte, satin or gloss finish
- Multiple coats of durable, low-VOC paint, with drying time built in between coats
- Protective sheeting over worktops, flooring, appliances and walls for the duration of the job, and a clean-up once spraying is finished
- A post-spray inspection with any touch-ups carried out before the job is signed off
Not Included / Costed Separately
- Worktop, sink or tap replacement - if your surfaces need replacing too, that's handled as a separate worktop and stone surface job, not part of a spray-only visit
- Structural changes, new cabinet carcasses or a different kitchen layout - that's a full kitchen design and installation project rather than a respray
- Disconnecting and reconnecting a gas hob, sink or sockets so we can spray behind them - only carried out by our own Gas Safe registered engineers or Part P approved electricians if agreed in advance, and priced separately
- Doors or carcasses that are swollen, delaminating or damaged by damp - spraying restores the finish, it doesn't fix chipboard that's already failing, so those units would need replacing instead
- Handle and hinge upgrades beyond what's agreed at the quote stage
Spraying vs Wrapping vs a Full Kitchen Replacement
| Option | Typical cost | Time on site | Best suited to | What it doesn't cover |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kitchen spray painting | Roughly £800-£2,000, depending on kitchen size and finish | 3-5 days | Cabinets that are structurally sound and just need a new colour or finish | Worktops, damaged doors, or moving appliances and sockets |
| Kitchen wrapping (vinyl) | Priced per job depending on cabinet count and vinyl choice | A few days | A lower-disruption colour change on doors and panels | The same heat resistance as a sprayed finish right next to a hob |
| Full kitchen replacement | Often several thousand pounds | Several weeks | Kitchens needing a new layout, new cabinets, worktops or appliances | Not a quick or low-cost fix if the cabinets are otherwise sound |
Qualified Trades on Every Job, Not Just a Spray Gun
Anyone can buy a spray gun - what matters more is who's behind the job if it turns out to need more than paint. Premium Kitchens of Doncaster has been designing, supplying and fitting kitchens across Doncaster and South Yorkshire for over 20 years, and it's the same team who spray your cabinets: if a respray uncovers a hob that needs moving or a socket in the wrong place, that work is carried out by our own Gas Safe registered engineers or Part P approved electricians rather than being handed off to a subcontractor. Every spray job carries the same 5-year labour and installation guarantee and 2-year product guarantee we put behind a full kitchen fit, and any old doors or materials taken away during the job go under our own registered waste carrier licence, not left in a skip on the drive. We're members of the Construction Industry Training Board and the Federation of Small Businesses, and every quote starts with a free, no-obligation consultation - including CAD visuals if you're weighing up a respray against a full replacement - so you know the full cost before anything is agreed.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Kitchen Spraying?
Kitchen spraying is an innovative method for refurbishing your kitchen cabinets, drawers, and doors. Instead of replacing your entire kitchen, which can be costly and time-consuming, we use specialised spray painting techniques to give your existing units a fresh, new look. This process involves using high-quality, durable paints applied with a spray gun to ensure a smooth, even finish. One of the key benefits of kitchen spraying is the ability to achieve a factory-like finish that traditional brush painting simply can’t match. The result is a flawless, professional appearance that can dramatically enhance the aesthetics of your kitchen. Plus, with a wide range of colours and finishes available, you can customise your kitchen to suit your personal style and preferences.
Q: How long does the kitchen spraying process take?
A: The entire kitchen spray painting process usually takes between 3-5 days, depending on the size of your kitchen and the complexity of the job. Our efficient team works diligently to minimise disruption to your daily life, ensuring a quick turnaround without compromising on quality.
Q: What is involved in the preparation phase?
A: Preparation is key to a flawless finish. Our team will thoroughly clean and sand all surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion. We also protect your floors, countertops, and appliances with protective sheeting to prevent any overspray and keep your home clean.
Q: How many coats of paint are applied?
A: We typically apply multiple coats of high-quality paint to ensure a rich, even colour and a durable finish. Each coat is allowed to dry thoroughly before the next is applied, resulting in a professional, long-lasting finish. Cost and Value

It provides a fresh, modern look at a fraction of the cost, and the durable finish ensures your kitchen stays beautiful for the fraction of the price of a new kitchen installation.
Q: Do you offer any discounts or promotions?
A: Please contact us or check our website for the latest offers and deals available to make your kitchen transformation even more affordable. Our prices are very competitive and you will be more than happy with the final result. Please be careful of companies offering very low cost deals as they may be cutting corners to complete the work at the price they say, or there are hidden extras they try to charge for throughout the job. All our prices are transparent with no hidden charges. Durability and Maintenance
Q: How durable is the spray paint finish?
A: Our spray paint finishes are designed to be highly durable and withstand daily wear and tear. With proper care and maintenance, the finish can last for many years, keeping your kitchen looking fresh and new.
