What's Included When We Fit Your Dishwasher
- A free site visit to check your plumbing, measurements and access before we quote
- Removing and disconnecting your old dishwasher
- Hot and cold water connections fitted with isolation valves, plus a waste connection to your sink trap or a dedicated waste pipe
- Electrical connection, tested and certified to current wiring regulations
- Fitting a pressure reducer if your water pressure is too high for the machine
- Levelling the machine and, on integrated models, adjusting the cabinet door hinges so the door opens and closes properly
- Testing the full wash and drain cycle before we leave, and clearing away all packaging and the old appliance
Not Included / Costed Separately
- Running brand-new hot/cold water supplies or a waste connection where none currently exists - possible, but it's a bigger job priced on its own and may mean lifting floorboards or running pipework through cupboards
- Adding a new circuit at the consumer unit if there's no spare capacity for a dishwasher connection
- Bespoke replacement cabinet doors from a joinery shop, if the housing for an integrated dishwasher needs rebuilding to match your existing units
- Moving a gas pipe or gas appliance out of the way, which is handled separately by our Gas Safe registered engineers
- Extended warranty cover beyond the standard installation guarantee - offered as an optional add-on
- Same-day fitting isn't guaranteed on every model - it depends on that dishwasher being in stock and the call coming in before mid-morning

Getting the Small Adjustments Right, Not Just Plumbed In
A dishwasher that's simply plumbed in and left tends to show its problems within a few weeks: mains pressure that's slightly too high hammering away at the inlet valve, or an integrated door that's still on its factory hinge setting so it doesn't quite sit flush or swing shut properly. We check incoming water pressure as standard and fit a pressure-reducing valve on the supply when it's running higher than the appliance is rated for, rather than leaving that to cause a valve failure a few months down the line. On integrated models, the cabinet door hinges are adjusted on site so the door closes fully and the fascia lines up with the rest of your run, instead of being left slightly proud because nobody touched the hinge after hanging it.
Because a dishwasher install crosses plumbing, electrics and sometimes joinery, each part is handled by someone qualified in that specific trade: water and waste connections by our NVQ Level 2 and City & Guilds trained plumbers, any new electrical work tested and signed off by our Part P approved electricians, and cabinet or door rebuilding done by our City & Guilds qualified joiners rather than improvised with the wrong hinge on the day. We're members of the Construction Industry Training Board and the Federation of Small Businesses, and your old dishwasher and its packaging are cleared away under our own registered waste carrier licence rather than left for you to deal with.
