If your kitchen carcasses are still solid but the doors have had it -- swollen chipboard, sagging hinges, a finish that's given up -- replacing just the doors is often the more sensible fix than tearing the whole kitchen out. Every door is measured on site, built to that exact opening, and fitted by hand, so there's no guesswork about whether a “standard” size will actually close properly on an older Doncaster kitchen. Before any work is agreed, we come out for a free, no-obligation design consultation, show you CAD visuals of how the finished doors will look, and put the cost in writing, so you know exactly what you're getting before you commit to anything.

Doors Built for Openings That Aren't Standard

One recent job was a kitchen fitted into a converted windmill, where one opening measured just 150mm wide -- too narrow for anything off a standard door range -- set into a wall with a slight curve, so the openings either side of it weren't quite the same as each other either. That kind of job is where a mortise and tenon joint either gets cut accurately or it doesn't: there's no spare width to plane a door down or pack it out afterwards to get it sitting flush, so the measuring and the joinery have to be right first time. Our joiners are City & Guilds qualified, which is what makes fitting an odd-shaped or non-standard opening a routine job rather than a gamble, and it's the same on-site measuring and hand-fitting that goes into a straightforward run of standard-width doors.

If a hinge works loose or a door drops out of true, that's covered under the installation guarantee, and the doors and hardware themselves are guaranteed separately.
